So I'm looking to update my GPU but I'm not all that technical with PC's.

I looked most of the stuff up my self and it looks like I should be able to use the card with my current motherboard but I wanted to ask here first before making the plunge.

The current motherboard I have is Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3-B3 (Very old and not sold anymore) and the current card I have is a GTX 560 and will be upgrading to:

MSI GeForce GTX 760 Twin Frozr Gaming (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-760-twin-frozr-gaming-oc-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1085mhz-boost-1150mhz-core) or

EVGA GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked ACX (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-evga-gtx-760-superclocked-acx-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1072mhz-boost-1137mhz-cores-1)

I just want to know if everything will be fine and I wont have any problems.

That card should fit. You will be fine.

If you were wondering about the PCIE X16 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, they are backwards and forwards compatible.

a 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot, you won't notice the difference if it was in a 3.0 slot. You would only loose 2-3 fps in gaming.

I had read that it's backwards compatible but just wanted to make 100% sure before I buy.

Thank you for the reply.
