PS4 will run on 1920x1080. Pc graphics will always be better than consoles but console games are more optimized so they run at constant 60fps without any tweaking of settings
Your system is capable of running on high settings(lower or off AA) next gen games.

If u want to upgrade it will surely be ur graphics card. Ur cpu is one of the best gaming cpus so no problems there and ram is also fine

So your saying my PC will run games better than the ps4 (higher settings)?

What GPU would you recommend, I would like a value for money card as I'm young and don't have money to waste.

What is your budget and power supply brand and watts?
Best price to performance card upgrade from 660 is 280x($300) if u can afford it. If u cant afford that then dont upgrade u will not see a big difference.

If your looking at value then just SLI your current setup, get another 660 if your mobo and PSU allow you to ofcourse. Im against buying the nvida 700 serise if you already have a decent 600 serise GPU just sli it.

Myspecs:

AMD fx 8350 Oc'ed to 5.0ghz
H80 water cooler
2x EVGA GTX 670 FTW SLI OC'ed
Gigabyte 990fx-UD3
8 gb vengence ram
120 gb SSD
1TB HDD
8 case fans
windows 8.1 pro
850 Watt PSU

Well how desperate are you in getting a new GPU? It all depends on that becuase AMD is bringing out there new gen GPUs prob in the next few months which will cause the 700 serise lower there prices. If you want to buy a card now then I would go with anything above the gtx 770. Anything lower then that will not be a great improvment over your 660 right now.

To answer your orignal question yes the 660 is better then a PS4 because it is a dedicated gpu comapred to the PS4 which is not. But anything below that card would prob be the same as a PS4, thats my opinion though.

All I want is to play games on higher settings than the ps4 and about the same fps if possible.so the main question here is on what settings will the ps4 play

Then you are fine with your 660. The ps4 runs games on medium to high settigs with a gpu comparable to Radeon HD 7850.

With certain things off you will be able to run ultra, turn AA off, it will run much better. and dont use HBAO try SSAO or lower.

I commented on the wrong topic whoops lol, it was supposed to be about a RAMDisk. In regards to this topic, the PS4 is in between a 7850 and a 7870. So a 7950/7970/760/770/280X will all destroy it. The CPU's in the PS4/XOne are roughly the same as an FX-8120 @ 1.8ghz. If any of this helps, then sweet.

GTA V for consoles run at 30fps, not 60. Also, games are WAY more optimised for PC since you can pick all the settings yourself, instead of them being locked like console versions.
