My computer has an asus maximus formula mobo, intel q6600 cpu, coolermaster 600 psu, nvidia 560ti video card. My computer has been working perfectly for the past 3-4 years, recently ive gotten a few bsod with memory management errors while playing bf4 which i didnt think much of at the time. Yesterday I was playing bf4 got the bsod, restarted the system everything was fine but had to leave the house. I came back around 3-4 hours later tried to boot it up and it started to turn on, then turned itself off, then back on then back off. When i try to boot it up all the lights on the mobo come on, the hdd's spool up, the cpu fan spools up everything seams to be working but it never posts. The monitor that came with the mobo says CPU INIT. I have tried pushing the clear cmos button many, many, many times. Overnight I pulled the power, held clearcmos for 30s then pulled everything off of the board except the cpu, incluing the battery and left it. This morning I plugged everything back in and still doing it. Strangly the moment i plug in the power the little monitor says CPU INIT even tho it went the entire night without any power. Im not sure if that means I havent successfully cleared the cmos or if thats normal. Forgot to mention that yesterday I tried my buddies power supply on my system and it did the same thing so I dont think its the psu. I have also tried reseating the cpu, tried booting without any cards in, without any ram, with ram just in the farthest slot, nothing I try works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a bad stick of ram? Something like this happened to me. Try one stick of ram, and boot. Try another.. If it boots, shut down and then add another. Rinse and repeat. Only suggestion I can think of.
