I've just installed a second 2gb DDR2 into my laptop but its 50/50 as to whether or not it will be recognised when she boots. I'm having to restart (sometimes several times) before it is recognised.
When it works its wonderful but i can't think of a reason why it would only work SOME of the time.
It is also not letting me come out of hibernation properly without deleting the startup data because 'the memory config has changed'
Any Ideas guys? Please get in contact if I need to be more specific about any of the previous information
