My computer has been giving me one problem after another, about to go office space on it. Just reformated with Windows 7 ultimate, computer was still laggy and locking up so I upgraded old video card with the gigabyte geforce gtx 660. Computer started running better after that but the new graphics card killed my power supply while I was in the middle of playing the new batman origin game. Rushed over to altex and got a coolmax 600 watt power supply since that's all I could afford. Now my computer has been locking up again. Think maybe ram sticks in motherboard might be going bad but I'm wondering if I need a new motherboard since mine is several years old. Any advice on what kind of motherboard I should get in the $100-200 range that would be good for gaming would be appreciated. Thanks!

You haven't told us what CPU you have. We need to know what socket mobo to get.

Sorry, I'm at work right now and I have no idea what kind of mobo I have. It was picked out by an ex a couple years ago. I'll check when I get off work and update my post.

OK - thats fine. But I can't suggest a mobo without knowing the correct socket. Post it soon.
