Hey there,

I am looking for a list of parts for a "Ultimate Mini ITX Gaming PC". I am going to use this pc for these things. Recording gameplay's for Youtube, Video Editing, LAN Party usage and Tournaments! I am looking for a guy that will make me a list of the best high end parts for this ultimate build that will be overkill for a Mini-ITX system. Also I am planning to overclock the system!

Thank You

Cheers! Didn't add storage, to keep space open, but if you made a small change (Win 7 Home Prem instead of Pro or no optical drive/change it to DVD instead of Blu Ray...I was just going extreme ;)) you could easily afford a TB of space or so. Case has removable hdd trays for even more space. RAM is just preferential, so you could use whatever you like best.

This would be beast, and would have a cool green/black color scheme.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the PSU, the Prodigy may have length restrictions so you'd have to research.

This build is great and this should definitely run any game you want to run on it on maximum settings. (BF4, etc.)

You don't need an i7 for gaming. Even recording basic videos for Youtube upload I can't imagine it would take a monster CPU to do so.

I would do something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X40 98.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: EVGA Z87 Stinger Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard ($219.99 @ NCIX US)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($72.00 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($79.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 290X 4GB Video Card ($585.91 @ Newegg)
Case: EVGA Hadron Mini ITX Tower Case w/500W Power Supply ($179.99 @ Amazon)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1575.84
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I used the EVGA Hadron mITX case and Stinger motherboard. The included PSU should be strong enough to power that rig.

Guys, seriously?

Here how about this

CPU: Intel Core I7-4770K
CPU Cooler: Noctua U14S
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Impact
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8)
Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 120GB
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7990
Power Supply: Seasonic M12II Bronze 750W
Case: Bitfenix Prodigy (Black)

I think that is the best solution for the $2,000

He asked for "overkill"...so that's what I delivered ;) But apparently he knew what he wanted anyway.

If you knew what you were looking for and didn't want suggestions, why bother asking? :??:

I only chose to bother because I wanted to see what you guys would say. I know a bunch about picking parts, the cost of them, and their performance. I knew what I was talking about. I wanted to hear someone else's opinion!

So you wanted to talk about how you know the best parts for a build...ok. And succeeded in wasting everyone else's time who tried to help. Thanks for that.
