Memory crashing PC while watching videos

So, I was having some problems with videos some time ago. What was happening was that everytime I watched an HD YouTube video in fullscreen, my PC would randomly crash. And by randomly I mean, I could watch a 30 minute video and not have it crash, but then I'd watch a 3 minute video and it would crash. Also, I'm not sure wether watching them not in fullscreen stopped the crashes, or if watching them in SD would stop or reduce the crashes. But I am sure that this only happens with YouTube videos, 'cause I had it thoroughly tested with downloaded videos. Then, what I did was remove 2 sticks of ram for testing, leaving me with only 2 (2 x 4GB).
I didn't alter neither the timings, nor the frequency, nor the voltage, and the crashes did stop. Now, the recommended timings, frequency, and voltage for this RAM can be found at the following link. They are, respectively, 9-9-9-27, 1600MHz, and 1.65V. I left my system like that for some time, with only 2 sticks of RAM. Then, recently, I decided to put the other 2 sticks back in to test it again, since a supposedly more stable BIOS version (the latest) for my MB was released. So, I updated the BIOS and put the 2 sticks back in, with the same configs, and the crashes are still happening, and they're happening bit more frequent right now.
I was thinking that if I altered these timings, the frequency, and the voltage my system would probably stabilize. But I haven't got a lot of experience with "custom" RAM configs, so here I am. Any suggestions?
