Sure, it will work. From manual: "Also supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards as independent graphics adapters." So you've just got an older PCI-E slot, but cards/slots are forward/backward compatible, so no problem. You might miss out on a tiny amount of bandwidth, but should work just fine.
