Hi all, I am getting artifacts and stutter with this card in all games I play. I have tried different drivers, updated bios, fresh install etc...all stock settings and temps are 70-75c. I also sent the card back to scan uk who I bought it from and they said they tested it for 6 hours with Battlefield 3 with no problems...

This is an example of one of the different artifacts I am getting:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

What is your power supply..?

Lack of power can cause artifact..

My psu is the Corsair RM750 so I don't think it's a power issue...

well, artifact is the indication that your card is damage, usually caused by vram error..

if your card still covered by warranty, that means you must rma it..

There's no point to try to fix it if you card still in warranty..

I did send scan a video on youtube of what the card does when it artifacts but it was not mine but I have already sent the card back to scan, they said no fault was found when testing for 6 hours with Battlefield 3. I thought it might might be overheating when in my case (80-85c) so I added 2 fans and paid the £36 charge to get the card back and the card still artifacts and stutters. I was just playing euro truck simulator 2 and after about 1 hour this happened: http://www.flickr.com/photos/108483033@N04/10822560714/

If I send this card back again though and they say no fault was found I will have to pay another £36...

Okay..
that's kind of video RAM artifact that's make an unexpected spike.
Hardware error..

I was have same symptom with my old 9000pro, and updating driver fix this issue..
Okay, based on your explanation, you've already update your driver to the (very) latest version..so, something wrong here..

okay, try this.
1. Use msi afterburner..
And then downclock your memory speed around 10-15%, and see, if same artifact still happens..

if there's no artifact, then add memory heatsink to your vram..and set your memory clock to default setting..

2. There's maybe something wrong with your power supply..
Maybe you can borrow your friend PSU and try to check your system with it..

I got the same problem.I recommend you to replace your the thermal paste with Phobya HeGrease Extreme or something similar good.My temperature drop to 70c heavy load. This solved the temperature problem but i still got some artifacts on Call of duty ghost and BF4.I overclock-downclock my card and scan it with OCCT application and still getting errors. My PSU is 700W and am thinking to buy a new one 1000w hopefully this will fix my problem."By the way I will NEVER and EVER buy an ATI graphic card again"
