Hi everyone. So I would like to overclock my CPU because I feel like my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU a little bit so I would like to OC the CPU to about 3.5 if possible.

What I'm looking for is someone experienced in Overclocking that would be kind enough to help me overclock my CPU step by step since I've never looked into overclocking. I know that you have to go into the bios and change frequency and voltages but that's where I'm not sure what to do and since I don't want to mess up anything, I decided that hopefully I'll find someone that could help me out over Skype or something.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: EVGA X58 3X-Sli
Memory Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Processor: Intel Core i7 930 Quad Core 8MB Cache 2.8GHz
Heatsink: Coolermaster V8
Video Card: GTX 780 SC ACX
Power Supply: Corsair 850W
Monitor: LG 1920x1080 Full HD (23 Inch)
Hard Drive: Western D.1tb + WD 150Gb
OS: Windows 7 64Bit

I do not see a need to overclock. But if you insist, You will also need a aftermarket cooler, a good choice is the 212+ EVO. To overclock, increase your multiplier until you get the clock speed you want. Then increase voltage until you can boot into windows and prime95 does not crash. Check temps because then you may need to lower your multiplier and voltage.

I have a Coolermaster V8 as cooler. That should be good right?
