Hi, I have a question regarding swapping out a faulty motherboard.

The board (M2N68-LA socket AM2+) blew some caps not to long back. I have ordered a second hand board with CPU, it has the same model number but its a socket AM2 not 2+.

What I wish to know if i replace the board and CPU to the one thats coming from ebay will I have to re-install the OS or will it just be a case of clearing out the old drivers and updating with ones form the new board?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Solution
the narra am 2 support cpu up to 89 watts check them on the net ,it could be working without having to reinstall everything if you put her in the same hp system .
