I built a 2500$ gaming PC about 6 years ago. Up to this date its been running nonstop pretty much. Thousands of gaming hours. However now I think my graphic card broke completely and I really can't afford a new computer at this point. I guess my budget is max 200$. I really need help what to get. I always found it hard to buy hardware, but trying to buy hardware for my 6 year old computer is just beyond me.

Here are the specifications:
Asus P5E Deluxe, X48, Socket-775, DDR2, ATX, GbLAN, Firewire, 2xPCI-Ex(2.0)x16

Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9550 2.83GHz

GK Sapphire HD4870X2 2GB, PCIe

Corsair 750W

Corsair TWIN2X 6400C4DHX DDR2, 4096MB Kit w/two CL4 2GB Dimm's, E.P.P and DHX

Western Digital VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS 150GB 10000rpm 16MB cache SATA2

I am sorry if it's a bit messy. Found em in my mail archive from when I ordered the parts.

I would really appreciate some help about what graphic card to get. I am still gaming almost daily. Also is there any other major improvement I can do fairly cheap?

Thank you for your help.

Like StarBG said, you can get an R9 270X but I recommend to start thinking about getting a completely new PC (I think you could keep your current PSU and HDD). I think at least some bottlenecking is unavoidable in this situation.

PS: Get 8 GB RAM and 64-bit Windows 7, if you don't have it already.
