Hello. Recently i had the amount of ram in my computer increased form 6gigs to 14gigs. I also had a new gpu installed. In fear that i would mess something up, i had Geek squad install them. Ever since i got my computer back from them i keep getting these same error messages at least once a day. they are; MEMORY_CHECK_ERROR and KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_ERROR. i think i have also got an error that said MEMORY_USAGE or something like that. i have tried to access the dump files but it says "access denied". Any thing i can do? Money is short right now.

Is it a pre-built computer? If it is, take it back to the Geeks and tell them somethings wrong - say this because it prob needs voltage adjustments to DRAM and to the the MC (memory controller), never should have mixed DRAM, especially on a prebuilt, all they basically do is stick additional DRAM in and if it boots they are happy - if you can tell me the model #s of the DRAM can give more info

Best bet would be to take it back and have them 'fix' it - have seen them pull this here in town, their Geeks are suppose to know a little something, but I often wonder when it comes to systems
