Yup, if you're using Windows 7 then this is still a very good guide. In fact it's the one I used when I built my rig in May!

I did'nt read the entire article, but the gist of it seems to still be relevant. it's mostly about how to minmize write cycles to preserve the SSD - seems legit.

Meh keep it simple

Enable AHCI
Dont defrag the SSD
Enable disk caching
