Internet speed drops to 0.3 Mbps when landline (wireless) phone is plugged into filter?

My internet speed is around 8 Mbps when working correctly. When I plug the phone into the filter it plummets to 0.3 Mbps! I have tried new filters and also using multiple filters, which works for a few days with the phone plugged in, then it goes again!

having tried different digital phones and routers and cables I am stuck, any ideas would be great, Thanks Jack !!!

Looks like you are using DSL, check with the phone company and DSL provider, I'm betting you need someone to look at the wiring. Old and/or poorly wired phones lines cause DSL issues.

The only other option is to drop DSL for something else (FIOS or Cable) or use a cell phone for your main phone.
