ASUS Striker II Formula and Windows 8?

I picked up a used build that has an ASUS Striker II Formula motherboard, and I'm deciding whether I should buy Windows 7 or 8 for it.

Does anyone know if this motherboard is compatible with Windows 8? I'd hate to buy it for no reason.

The Windows 7 drivers available for this board should work under Windows 8 and 8.1 for the most part. If you don't want to chance it though, stick with Windows 7 for now until you upgrade the hardware.
