Do USB hubs get power from the wall or your PSU?

Let's say if you are running a USB hub with a bunch of ASIC chip miners and other hardwares that plugs into the USB hub. Does the USB hub and all the hardware that is plugged into it have to draw power from the PSU or is there a way to get power directly from the wall instead? Thanks.

I'm 100000000000000000000000000000000000000% sure it comes for your Power Supply or you could put it through a 5 volt adapter but that is stupid

Thanks everyone, do you save more power getting it from your PSU or from the wall. I really don't want to lower the life of my PSU.

depends on whether the hub plugs into the wall or not.

many hubs have their own power supply, if they do not they are recieving their power through the usb port. since usb is extremely limited in the power it is capable of carrying many hubs plug directly into the wall.

Depends on the hub. There are externally powered hubs(powered from the wall) or hubs that are powered from the usb port. There are also a few that wrok both ways they can be externally powered or just pull power from the port. If the devices you are using get their power from the usb port then I would suggest using an externally power hub, a usb port can only deliver so much power and overloading them can damage the usb controller.
