Specifically I'm mulling over the idea of going from 1680x1050 up to 1920x1080. Will this jump in resolution tax the CPU at all or is resolution in and of itself handled by the GPU only?
I ask because although my CPU is still viable its getting up there in age and I don't want to put unneeded stress on it.
