Hello everyone!

Alright well i want to play Skyrim with a enb. I owned a 650 but traded it for my brothers 560. But now im not so sure whats better for playing enb's on skyrim. I have plenty of fans in my pc and im just curious if i could OC the 650 to make it play better with an enb on skyrim like SharpShooters ENB(if you know what that is)

Any anwsers are apreciated

Card specs:
Evga GTX 650 1GB STOCK CLOCKS AND VOLTAGES

Gtx 560 stock clocks 2gb and stock volts

Solution
It depends, basically look at temps under load and gradually increase them. As long as there are no graphics errors and the GPU stays cool enough you are fine. You don't need to raise voltage unless there are stability issues when you increase the clocks.
But i am not an expect in the GPU overclocking.

I know!! THATS WHAT I THOUGHT!!

But i ran some Open GL furry and tessy tests on kombustor and my 560 gets 7!!!FPS and the 650....26FPS so you tell me in depth why the 560 is a overall better card. Please im sooo stressed...

Pretty much test results show that:
GTX560 vs GTX650

There are some cases where the GTX650 is better, but as you can see from the above tests. And like the crypto testcase, it is much more optimized in the GTX650 which shows as a clear advantage.

Open GL performance hasn't been as good in the past and it has been improved with the newer things. Thus why the GTX650 is better at it. But games and stuff usually use DirectX API's instead of OpenGL so that does usually matter.

Hopefully that helps.

It does. Switched it out with the 650 and then switched it back the 560 is better. If there's one more question that you might be able to answer its this:Whats the MAX voltage and overclock i can set to this without murdering it
