I need a 1200 watt PSU. I was thinking of getting the Cooler Master silent Pro Gold 1200 watt, but I'm wondering if I can get anything better or possibly more modular for the price. (I'm also looking for something with good crossfire support)
depends on your usage i need info on your gear but as i said seaSonic X-SERIES X-1050 is pretty good deal it can handle anything as i said even more than 3 cards on crossfire
Cooler Master makes pretty bad power supplies, look for a Seasonic or Corsair if you're looking for 1200W. Are you sure you really need that much power?
Look for Seasonic, Corsair or XFX .Those are the best brands out there in my opinion. Interesting fact is that Seasonic makes a big percentage of both Corsair and XFX PSUs but its a bit more expensive.

That's true for most of the Corsairs except the 1200W, that one is a custom Corsair design.
