Is there something wrong with my graphics card?

Sometimes my graphics card does this in games, these weird colors.

What it does all the time though is these weird tearing like symptoms as seen in video 2. In every game and when watching videos. This is with vsync forced on. This happens all the time, no matter which drivers or settings I use.

My card is msi gtx 580, I would like some clarification on what course of action to take, as this card is still under warranty. To put simply my question is; is my graphics card faulty?

Yes I have done that, I have reinstalled windows and tried many versions.
I don't know how to overclock so everything is default.

Hm. In TF2, referring to Video 1, could you turn off motion blur and see if the problem persists? As for Video 2, that seems like input lag.

That issue is not linked to just 1 game, I am showing you an example of what I experience in multiple games.

As for video 2 this is also an example, I said that I experience these issues in every game and when watching videos, again that is only an example and has nothing to do with input lag in that specific game.

I apologize, I'm a bit delirious from lack of sleep. Well, there is certainly something wrong with either your monitor or your GPU. If you've not already tried something to display your computer on other than the monitor you have been using, then it would only mean your GPU is going bad. So, I suppose it would qualify for warranty and you could replace it.

When you say sometimes, though, when does it normally happen? every other time you launch the game, after 5 mins of playing, etc.

Thanks for replying. That tint effect happen randomly when I mess around in nvidia settings or whatnot. What happens 100% of the time is the random waves lines going down my screen etc.

Now that you mention monitor, I am more leaning to it being a fault with the monitor. The monitor is an 120hz monitor. I do not own another 120hz monitor and the 2 other monitors I own; one is 76hz and my TV do not show any issues which I experience on the 120hz. I guess I will regrettably have to contact my monitors manufacturer as there is still 1.5 years warranty left. I will test for a few days on my 76hz monitor to be sure it happens only on the 120hz. Thanks for making me regrettably suspect my trusty monitor. Gah.
