Random wireless failure

My wireless connection has been working fine with no problems for a long time until a few days ago now i will get random happenings where it will say i still have a connection but i cannot browse webpages or call on skype etc. and than it will come back shortly. I am wondering if it is a problem with my router or network adapter? I have high doubts it is my ISP.

ALSO: Windows troubleshooting either says its a problem with DNS or the other error is; connection is broken from access point to computer (which is bogus)

have you check the router so that it not over heating or clogged with dust?? does the router have the newest drivers and does the usb dongle??
next time it drops try pulling power from just the router/modem and see if you get back online. if you can try another dongle.

Yes, the router is not dusty. It is a brand new router so it must have the newest drivers. and i am unsure what you mean when you ask if the usb dongles?
