I'm trying to install a Samsung 840 SSD with a Biostar G31-M7-TE. The Software that came with the SSD says that I don't have ACHI enabled. I don't see anywhere in the BIOS where I can select AHCI. The BIOS does say that the SSD is operating as a SATA device on AHCI. I have also gone into REGEDIT and changed msahci = 0. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro and the BIOS was indicating that I was operating in AHCI before I started loading Win 7.

Is there a place in the BIOS to manually select ACHI? Or does this MB only support IDE?
