I got it and in Battlefield 4 notably, I get around 40-50 FPS, sometimes on just medium/high. On some maps I get 60 but it's rare now.

My friend has a GTX 770 and he runs it all on ultra with well over 60 FPS. I just don't get it.

More about : deal 280x

There's more to it than just the graphics card. Have you compared the rest of the components between your two systems?

i average ~80+ in most 64 player maps( with one card) 7970ghz @ 1150/6200(1550) I set my power limit to + 30 via registry change which lets you go to +50 in msi afterburner and this is with my stock voltage of 1256.

What driver version are you running?

your 280x should be a hair faster at the same clock rates

Darn, then I'd have to get a new mobo too.

An i7-3770k is significantly faster than a Phenom II x4 965. That's probably the difference that is giving him the edge, although there could be more.

Would OC'ing help at all?

Yes, but you're not going to make up the difference through overclocking.

Any voltage boost at 1200? I know if i dont raise the voltage my card drops its usage percent in games to ~ 85 and i would get tons of errors in occt.

Can you confirm your gpu usage ingame?

I would say over clock your cpu for now as well anyways

94% gpu usage? honestly you should be killing whatever processes you dont need when gaming.

sometimes chrome alone can be using a bit of cpu usage as well as memory.
