CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8GHZ
Motherboard: ASUS P5QLPRO
Memory: DD2 8GB G.SKILL PC2-6400
Graphics card: GTX260 1GB

The graphics card is too old for some games. So I'm consider buying a new graphics card which supports DX11. I'm afraid my CPU may limit the performance of new graphic card.
need some advice for picking the graphic card or maybe I should upgrade the whole system?

Solution
A full system upgrade would be best, you won't see many benefits if you're only going to get a new GPU.

If you live in the US this is a decent choice for newer games, the 7870 XT runs warm but it performs very close to the 7950.

Thanks so much for the details.
I'm in US.
The reason I asked is because I don't want to spend too much money upgrade the whole system. I'll consider upgrade my system.
Anyway, thank you so much.
