Hi basically what the title states;

I'm currently reaching 75 degrees CPU temperature under load and 50 degrees idle, I have overclocked to 4.5ghz with 1.332V and with stock speeds I still reach 60 degrees under load, I have tried reseating the pump twice to no avail.

I have a sneaking suspicion that poor airflow may be the culprit, as i previously used the 212 evo cooler and had similar issues, I have a Cit Vantage midi case;

The h80i is mounted where the rear exhaust fan was originally, with the corsair fan exhausting fan out the back, and only one fan on the side panel pulling air in as the pipes on the h80i blocked the second fan, please advise!
Thank you in advance :)

I had a H100i on my i5 3570K and was never really happy with the temps I was getting with it. I ended going with a full custom water cooling loop for this rig and am very happy with it now I get around 27c idle and about 50c full load now. The only think I can say it to make sure the water block is fully seated and that you have removed the plastic film from the water block. I can't remember if my H100i came with a plastic film or not but I know that the block for my XSPC RayStorm did.

I would have the fans intaking air into my case but then I wouldn't have an exhaust fan at all, and I currently only have one fan on the h80i as with two the side panel fan doesn't fit.

As I understood,there is one fan on the H80i and two case fans on the side panel at present in your setup?If you attach both the H80i's fans on your H80i radiator unit,with the H80i's fans acting as an intake unit,you could take off one side panel case fan.Try this setup and monitor your temperatures.See if they go down/up/stay the same.

I currently have one intake fan at the front of my case, one side panel fan as the second side panel fan doesn't fit because of the h80i's pipes blocking the way, and I have one fan on the h80i exhausting air out the back.
With 2 fans on the h80i I cannot have any side panel fans, I will try this though

Wait,you wrote-

I currently only have one fan on the h80i as with two the side panel fan doesn't fit.

I thought you meant -With both H80i fans installed,one side panel fan does not fit .So,I assumed the other side panel fan was fitting okay. It sounds a bit silly,but if possible,could you mount the H80i on the side,where the side fans currently are?Because,even though it can be an airflow issue,but in a water/liquid cooler,the point is to keep the radiator cool,which translates to the liquid being cool and thus ,lower temperatures.Two fans thus lead to better temperatures than a single fan,imo.Any alternative spaces in your case where you could mount the cooler ?What about the space for optical drives in the front?Are they occupied?Though it would look a bit cluttered...

Sorry I meant with both fans on the corsair h80i, the h80i comes out too far from the back panel and blocks the fans on the side panel (it's quite a narrow pc case). Optical drive slots are riveted in and full anyway, and putting the radiator with two fans on the side wouldn't really be practical, it'd be very hard to close the pc

Hmm,that was a kind of last resort suggestion.:D I understand that the space/mounting requirements for the H80i on Corsair's website do not specify which cases are compatible ... I checked my case's size and the H80i's dimensions on Google before buying the H80i...Luckily,my case was listed here-

http://www.overclock.net/t/1144409/h80-h80i-h90-h100-h100i-h110-case-compatibility-thread-page-1-for-full-listings

Now,if anyone else can come up with a solution for modding your case(if you want to),all will be good.But as an alternative,you could try contacting Corsair/your case manufacturer in your country and explaining the situation to them...See what they come up with...:)
Wait a second,there are holes for the tubing in case there is need for a custom water cooling unit...Why don't you try them ? You could try routing the extra portion of the H80i's pipes outside...though again,this is a last resort suggestion and I must warn you,it could void warranty if you open parts of the H80i unit...

I just reseated the cpu again, thoroughly cleaning it (I may have been a bit lazy doing this properly before) and I changed the h80i fan to intaking air, with the side panel fan exhausting air, and 100% load in prime95 has dropped by 15 degrees ^.^

That's great,spaynnpray. :) However,I find it a bit surprising that you did not mention any front panel fans?(It's not shown on the product's page)If you could use the front panel fans as an exhaust unit,then you would have no need for the side panel fans....and you could attach both fans on the H80i...;)
