Desktop at 1080p HDTV looks terrible but perfect in 1366X768..

i m using a sony KLV-32s400A, my desktop at 1920X1080 does not look good but at 1366X768 it looks perfect........

The problem is not with games, i play Batman Arkham Origins, Bioshock:Infinite and TB2013.....all of them looks awesome with all the details and perfect lighting at 1080p but desktop looks small with small text and icons

My HD channels also looks great when i use it for watching tv

i use HDMI cable that came with my GPU, i think it is HDMI 1.3 which supports 3D

Its at a higher resolution so its smaller. That's what it's supposed to look like. If you're used to a lower resolution and want things to be bigger just use that.

go on your desktop press display and set the icon to middle size .

well the problem is that the screen is also not fitted well, but 1366X768 fits well

it did not do any good, only desktop icons are big but the text and my computer is still very small
it also does not take up the whole screen, some edges are black

whe gone check the ccc settings under the desktop management open desktop property and see in hdtv set 1080 p at 60 hz then under flat numerical screen add the 1080 p60 ntsc on hdtv mode the the hdtv format press 1080 p 60 standard and add after apply also otn the same place see flat screen property under scaling process adapt picture to panel the press activate scaling by the gpu and apply this should fix you issue,but if the text stiil to slim use this under control panel open display and set the teaxt size to 125 % you may have to reduce the desktop icon to small .
