Hi. I'm new to pc gaming especially FPS. recently i bought 'Far Cry' (far cry 1) with Ubisoft 25th anniversary game pack 'UBISOFT CLASSICS'. when i tried to play it with my Xbox 360 controller, i couldn't find any options for gamepad support in game menu. when i googled, i came across about patches for gamepad support. but i don't know much about patches. everyone talks about it in high level but its so confusing and couldn't able to understand clearly. what i'm asking is
what patch should i download for my WIN7 64bit OS? there are many versions i came across and the latest V1.4 says it supports only for 32bit only.
where can i download the trusted official patch? far cry official website shows only patches for FC3.
what should i do to play it with xbox 360 controller? (i knw many argues with mouse&keyboard over gamepad. since i'm new to keyboard control i found it very hard. so i want to give gamepad a try and choose what i ultimately feels comfortable with)
will the patches increase game graphics in anyway? want ultimate graphics and gaming experience. is there any DLC and any other stuffs that i'm missing?
googling results only in further confusion. guide from basics would be much appreciated coz its the main reason for this thread.
