Swapping out my old Quad core and old Mobo, for a new Eight core and Mobo. Now my problem is, I cant find my copy of windows and cant reinstall it to the old hard drive because obviously it wont put with the new motherboard. Is there any possible way I could install whatever drivers needed for the new Mobo to get it running without reinstalling windows. Like I have REALLY little choice here and sucks I cant use my new parts because of something so dumb. Really Im open to dam near anything...

The new motherboard I bought is Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

Boot from your windows Cd and reinstall windows to the correct partition, you will have a option to save the old windows (with all your docs) it will be labeled "old windows" if you explore the drive it is on you can copy all docs and save them to the new install and the delete the "old windows" folder
