Hi everyone,
I believe that I saw a similar thread somewhere but I couldn't find it anywhere.
I have two Evga GTX 780 (3 way sli) already in my workstation, They are amazing and all, but my motherborad (P9X79 WS) still has two empty pci-e slots, and I like to fill them with another couple of 780, or one (maybe two) 790, if god said "There shall be 790 GTX".
Since the GTX 790 is shining in the horizon, I decided to buy one, and plug it with the two 780.
Now, I don't know if that is possible or not, but if it is, I'm not sure how is that could be done. I may need a special connector or something .. right?
I'm afraid if I connect them the usual way, it may drop the power of GTX 790 to the half, or maybe it won't work at all. I'm talking theoretically off course.
