Well the GTX650 ti BOOTS 2 GB is soooo close to the GTX660 but the I5 is CONSIDERABLY better than the FX6300.

So in my opinion is get the better CPU.

I would go for the FX 6300 and GTX660 combo personally. Games are becoming more heavily threaded now the next gen consoles are coming out so those two extra threads on the 6300 will help, and so will the extra graphics horsepower. The CPU can also be overclocked unlike the i5. The 660 is about 10% faster than the 650ti boost, and looking on the UK websites is about the same price as a 650ti boost. Also the 650ti boost is pretty much overclocked to its limit whereas the 660 isnt, so the gap between the two cards grows when the 660 is overclocked

what if i don't want to overclock anything?
and here in india they don't come about same price there is around 40$ difference
given i won't overclock anything..should i still go for fx 6300 and gtx 660?

Tough choice, but since you mentioned you don want to overclock, the 650TIB and the 3350P is my choice. The 650 Ti Boost is really close in performance with the 660. It should be called the 660 Lite or something because a lot of people are fooled by the "650".

Either would game absolutely fine.
Which games will you be playing? The intel will generally be better, but the 660 may have an edge over the 650ti boost.
Personally I'd go for what's best for my wallet.

The fx 6300 would be my choice since the games are now making use of more cores the two cores would be make a difference..the i5 would excel only in single threaded performance rest the fx 6300 leads . IN INDIA there is still a $40 diff bw both gpus I would suggest going with asus gtx 660 as it's low on power consumption around 150w and 10% faster than the gtx 650 ti.
