I am planning to build my first home office PC. This is not regular gaming system. It is more like a office build and usage is limited to Photoshop editing, encoding ,financial modelling, 3D graphics, excel simulations, internet, email and MOVIE watching. No Over clocking and being on tight budget will love to stay around 400EUR. Many windows and applications are expected to be open simultaneously.Below are the list of the parts. my choices based on the advice and reviews in this forum and want to get ur suggestions now. parts will be mainly from http://www.notebooksbilliger.de/ as I found the prices reasonable for Germany, even though they have limited options to choose from. But other websites are also welcome.

1. AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz --- 96 Eur
2. Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 AMD 970 Sockel AM3+ ---74 Eur
3. Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX 8GB (1600 MHz, CL9) DDR3-RAM . From Amazon I found this for 40 EUR
4. GigaByte AMD Radeon HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 SDRAM / 4.5 GHz / DirectX 11 / PCIe 2.1 x16 ---69-eur
5. Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB 3,5" SATA 6 Gb/s ST1000DM003 --52 Eur
6.Cooler Master Force 500 case - 33 Eur
7. Thermaltake Munich / 430 Watt / ATX 12V - 35 Euro
8. DVD Samsung - 18 Eur

Total - around 415 EUR

If you are working with programs like Photoshop, you would need an Nvidia GPU for faster rendering. Plus, the stock heat sink that comes with the FX 6300 is terrible, as they heat up quickly, so an aftermarket heat sink is ideal. Here is a counter build. It's a bit more than you wanted, but it'll work very well -

Drop that CPU cooler. It will not be any better than the stock cooler and is really just a waste of money.

Thanks for the making things clear. How about the suggested Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard. Is this a better alternative to Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 AMD 970 Sockel AM3+ if I am not OCing and not playing state of the art games? Also with the GTX 650 Ti suggestion, is it worth to invest in such a GPU or just go ahead with HD7750 if the difference in quality is only marginal?

The Motherboard suggestion is no better than the motherboard you want. Plus, with the suggested GPU, there is a good 45% performance increase from the HD 7750 to the GTX 650 ti.

I am not sure about the power requirement with Sapphire HD7750 GPU and FX 6300. Will a 400 Watt Antec VP400PC Non-Modular be enough power to run the PC and nothing fancy with all the bells and whistles
