Okay, so i've build the PC in my signature below, accept for a few things like the SSD, GPU etc...

I have used a 2.5" HDD out of my Vista 32-bit laptop to test it... when I turn on the PC, everything worked perfectly, but when I click shut down.. it shuts down normally (i.e. shut down screen then goes blank asif its off) but the PC is still turned on... my H80i is still running, all my fans are still on and my cold cathodes are still on... whats the reason for this?

I am putting it down to the fact that not all the drivers are installated on my hard drive for this new build, and that the operating system isnt properly configured for the hardware in this build... but it still shouldnt do this should it...

Any help would be greatly apreciated, after shut down, I have to hold in the power button to turn it off atm...

You are correct on the assumption with the drivers causing this and in this case it would be considered normal since the OS was installed on different hardware.
