What cards will a i7 920 at stock 2.6GHZ start bottlencking.

Depends on the GPU(s) and the game.

Some games arent too CPU bound and it wont bottleneck two 780s, but something like BF4 you might see some bottlenecking with a single 780, although it will still play it well (with a good CPU overclock).

Basically, If I were you and looking at the high end, I would get the best GPU you can afford and look to upgrade your CPU/Mobo with the next generation.

The question you posted is a bit confusing to understand. I think you mean that which graphic cards will be bottlenecked by this Cpu. Because unless you buy a low-med end card card, a gpu will not bottleneck your cpu. Because If you buy gpu's stronger than gtx 760-770 or hd 7970, your Cpu will be bottleneck them.

Ya that's what I was trying to say. So even at stock it can still handle pretty much anything.
