Hi guys!

I'm planning to change my Elite Group (ECS) GeForce6100PM-M2 (V2.0) Motherboard to ASUS A55M-E without changing anything else. (except adding RAM and also a suitable PSU). Is this possible?

My reason by the way is because i need more RAM for my sons' games and I learned that ddr2 is a thing of the past or so I was told and that it was pricier to get them now that their harder to come by. My processor is AMD Athlon II x2 250 3.00ghz with just 2gb of RAM.

Appreciate your info guys!

Just bare in mind when upgrading motherboard the OS needs the drivers for the new hardware installed and reactivation. At minimum a repair has to be done but really recommended to do a clean install.

Gotcha! Didn't know that there were different sockets. I thought as long as the mobo supports AMD I'm good to go. Thanks!

This is the closest thing available in our store here: ASROCK N68C-GS FX...is this ok? btw, what does "Integrated NVIDIA® GeForce 7025 graphics" mean? Is this like a built in graphics card? If it is, is it good to play games like WOW and Diablo 3 so i don't have to buy a seperate graphics card?
