And no gaming at all!

Is there any benchmark to prove which CPU is better for the software mentioned above.

In combination with GTX 760 and 12 GB Ram.

Solution
Okay, if you are looking at an upgrade on your current motherboard, you will have to stay with a socket 1155 CPU.

The i5-4670 is socket 1150 and won't fit. Your only real choice of upgrade for that board for your use would be an i7-3770, which is the correct 1155 socket.

Different chipsets over time have used different memory channel architecture, the current most common is dual channel and the other on the socket 2011 is quad channel. Read THIS.

With dual channel memory you get the best performance by using 2 or 4 sticks (i.e. 2 pairs).
