I have a new laptop lenovo g580, its safe to charge it while the laptop is used? I tried to charged the battery in off mode I need help to indicate the light indicator if its fully charged?

Yes , it's perfectly safe to charge your battery and use your laptop at the same time.

Once the battery is charged, your system will stop the charge process for the duration of your session with the AC adapter attached.

Usually, a blinking light indicates that the charging process is underway.
