word doc 2 pages in color

I have a word document 2007 that has a table with text and 2 pumpkins at the top. When I print to a local b&W printer it prints in 1 page, when I send it to a network color printer 4050 it prints 1-1/2 pages. why???

the document is set to "no scaling". I don't make any changes. I'll print local and then change printers and it forces to a 2nd page. Can I upload the document on here?

Scale to fit to one page if you want to force it to one page. Also do a print preview to see what will show up on the printers.

The only want to find out why this is happening is to look over your document and the printer settings which we can't really do from here.

It still prints 2 pages in color when I scale to a 8.5 x 11 paper size. when I change printers to b&w it goes back to one page in print preview and prints it all on 1 page. very weird.

I tried printing to another color printer and it still prints 2 pages. Print to a black and white it's one page. It has to be some obscure setting somewhere....ughhh

I ended up copying and pasting the info. incl. the 2 pumpkin clipart to a Powerpoint document and sent it to the same color printer. It printed on one page without changing any margins on the page or changing any preset printer margins :)
