If you'd like to suggest any other Graphic Card, flipkart will be the website i will be ordering from.

Probably the 7950 or the 760 Hawk.

That GTX 760 Hawk is the best card, and best deal. If it's out of stock, I've got the Zotac GTX 660 with the same cooler and it's very quiet and compact - love it.

well, jessterman does say the GTX760 is the best, and the best deal!!

He also said if it's out of stock the 660 isn't a bad choice, and has a good cooling design. The 660ti is nearly as good as the GtX760 so maybe that's an option depending on availability of the 760.

The R9 270 x is also a decent card. It's the old 7950 boost, and although slightly behind the 760 in most things, is a great gaming card.

something like this:

Sorry if I were rude. Now I am even more confused, isn't vapor-x better than the flex edition? The recommended VRAM for BF4 is 3gb so should I only look into 3gb or up?

well, if 3gb is the recommended, then that's prob a good idea at a minimum.
Regarding Vpor/ Flex editions of cards. They really relate to cooling solutions. Personally I couldn't give a hoot about cooling, and have never thought of it as something I need to look at. Regardless of cooling, most cards will function within 3 % of each other, even with these SSC/OC editions of cards. Its all just marketing gimmicks.

I've I were you, I would suggest purchasing the cheapest (good brand) with the best bundle, and go for it.

No doubt after saying that about cooling solutions, you will see people posting about how important it is, and unless your gonna be overclocking the a** out of the card, or are worried about the noise the cards make when the fans are spinning full speed, then don't worry too much about it.

Also, there will be lots of different views on which brand card to get. Some peoples opinion differ, perhaps from bad experience etc. I've had Saphire, Zotac, Asus, and reference cards, and they've all worked fine, still work, and have no problems. Different horses for different courses my friend :)

Happy gaming.

Keith12, if you were getting ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 AMP Edition 2 GB, Sapphire AMD/ATI VAPOR-X HD 7950 OC with Boost 3 GB GDDR5 and MSI NVIDIA N760 HAWK 2 GB GDDR5 at the same price, which one would you pick?

Personally, I like Nvidia cards more. For a couple of reasons. 3 of the games I play most have PhysX and so that's a consideration for me. Borderlands 2, Batman A, and Metro. I also find the drivers are a little better, but again, others may differ on that opinion. On that basis, I would take the GTX760 (little faster too). A lot of people have had issues with MSI GPU's if you google around the web. So considering I have a Zotac 560ti , I would prob choose that one. It's quiet enough, hasn't caused any issues for me yet! :)  fingers crossed (as I say that, it will prob die tomorrow haha :)  )

edit: as for the MSI OC card. Well if the price increase isn't too much, it's not a bad iea to have it OC'ed right out of the box. Saying that, OC'ing is fun, so I would just get the normal version, and play around with OC'ing myself. But that's when the good cooler comes into play!!

I would say the main thing about choosing the different versions for me, is the noise.

I picked the ASUS Direct CUII version of my card because it enabled me to run the fans at 37% (which doesnt make any more noise than the computer is already making) without the temperature going too high. This means a nice quiet pc.

I don't have CUII in my country and noise isn't an issue.

You certainly haven't checked the links i posted. MSI GTX 760 HAWK no doubt

Edit: What's your PSU?
Also since u live in India I really don't know how much value you are going to get by purchasing Battlefield 4. It's a multiplayer game and with India's internet and lack of dedicated servers you are going to get lag even if u have a high end PC

Sorry - I meant if the Hawk is out of stock, get the Zotac 760 - it's got the same cooler as the Zotac 660, and it works very well.

but the R9 270X is not the same as an HD 7950 - it's the Pitcairn chip (HD 7870).

and when I was playing the BF4 beta, it used just over 1800MB of VRAM at 1920x1200 Ultra. Guru3D reports even less.

A 2GB card is plenty for 1080p.

I do like hawk but I also want to be future proofed, will 2 gb be enough for that?

I just found out that my country has 280x.
MSI AMD Radeon R9 280X, 3GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card R9 280X GAMING OC (Which has performance similar to gtx 770).
Its the same price.
There is also SAPPHIRE GRAPHICS CARD DUAL X R9 280X 3GB DDR5 OC (same price)

No such thing as future proofing with GPUs. Chances are in 3-4years the difference between 2Gb or 3Gb on your 3-4year old graphics card will make hardly any difference as the GPU will be much less powerful that more modern cards.

Look at the 1gb or 2gb AMD 6850 now, it doesnt really matter about that extra GB.

I would only get the higher RAM on higher end cards that would enable you to be gaming at higher resolutions and actually use the extra ram.

Just look at what is currently available. Anything that comes new to the market is always expensive at start. And that Asus link tells prices excluding taxes. And tax on tech products is a big thing in India.

Also it seems u are not understanding our comments . Atleast 3 people have said 2GB is more than enough for <=1080p. jessterman21 has posted a chart. Do u have trouble reading the chart. If yes u can ask us. And this card will become obsolete in 3 years. GPUs scale more than CPUs almost twice. U can use your current high end CPU for maybe 6 years

And u still haven't mentioned your PSU model

Sorry, the graph didn't load (refreshed a couple of times and worked, and regarding BF4, I will soon upgrade my speed to 2Mbps). I will buy one of these

What do you think about 280x?

The Seasonic is good. Even the S12 II Bronze 520W model will work.
About the Corsair, Flipkart really needs to specify part numbers properly. There are actually six versions of the Corsair TX series 650W. I think the link u provided is the CMPSU-650TXV2 version made by Seasonic itself.
http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm

I actually found the R9 280X.
Now u have to choose between these 2
MSI NVIDIA N760 HAWK 2 GB GDDR5 Rs. 24499
MSI R9 280X GAMING 3G 3GB GDDR5 Rs. 26,520

That's approximately 8% price increase.

Look at these reviews
MSI GTX 760 HAWK 2 GB
MSI R9 280X GAMING 3 GB
I see a 8% performance increase. So u are basically getting what u pay for. The thing to note is that the R9 280x consumes more power and has more heat and more noise.

Also about Battlefield 4, the speed of the internet doesn't matter much, its the ping and network traffic and server location and server bandwidth that matters. U may want to look at these links before purchasing Battlefield 4
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2...
http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/gamerz/171775-battlefie...

Recently EA screwed us with US pricing.
Battlefield 4 costs Rs. 3499
That money would be better invested in Bioshock : Infinite Rs. 1499 or Far Cry 3 Rs. 998
