PNY XLR8 Edition 8GB vs GeIL Enhance CORSA 8GB help

I'm on a budget build of around £450 and i spotted the PNY XLR8, which is only £37, compared to the GeIL Enhance CORSA which is £56 and currently out of stock.

The major difference i've noticed between them is that the PNY XLR8 is lacking all the fancy cooling fins and plastic case, but in various places people seem to be saying that these are merely for marketing purposes.

Anyway I would be grateful if someone could tell me if its safe to save some money and go with the cheaper option, or pay the extra and go with the more expensive one.
Thanks in advance for any replies!

p.s. this is my build so far
