Hello there,
I am having a bit of trouble with my monitor waking from sleep, this only happens sometimes though. If I leave my computer for under 10 mins or over 40ish it wakes up fine but anything between that, when I go to wake it up the monitor just shows black forcing me to restart my computer.
After a look around the problem doesn't seem to rare and that it happens with asus motherboards and often AMD Radeon graphics cards, and something to do with BIOS. I have updated the graphics card drivers but no luck.
I have not yet found a helpful solution and when I think I do, they always link to a site that is no longer up (It always seems to have something to do with BIOS)
My computer is a Chillblast Fusion Sprite running Windows 8.1 with a Iiyama 23" X2377 IPS Panel Monitor. I got this earlier in the year.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 3570K "Ivy Bridge" Processor overclocked to 4.5GHz
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
8GB PC3-10666 DDR3 Memory
AMD Radeon HD7790 Graphics Card
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks!
