Hi guys.... I am helping my cousin to build a gaming PC . He wants to play hardcore games such as Crisis 3 , Battlefield 3/4 , Far Cry 3 , etc. with Ultra or Very High Resolution. In short he wants a gaming beast with excellent silence.

I don't have much knowledge about PC hardware. But , I have tried a build for him..... Please check whether it is a good build or I should get some changes in it.

Processor - Intel i7 4770k haswell cpu

Mobo - Asus Sabertooth Z87

Graphics - EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Graphics Card

Memory RAM - Corsair Vengeance [ CMZ16GX3M2A2400C10] 16GB [2X8GB] 2400MHz

HDD - WD Caviar Black 2TB Internal Hard Drive

SSD - Intel 520 Series 240GB SSD

PSU - Corsair AX860 [860W] Power supply unit

CPU cooler - Corsair H100i Liquid CPU cooler

CPU Case - Fractal Design Define R4 / XL R2 Black Pearl [Please Suggest Me Here]

DVD Writer - Samsung Internal DVD writer Black SH-224BB/BEBE

Monitor - Samsung S27A950 Series 9 27 Inch 69cm 3D LED Monitor

Mouse - Razer DeathAdder 2013 USB Optical Mouse

Keyboard - Filco Majestouch Cherry MX Brown 104 key Stealth printed mech keyboard

Speakers - JBL Jembe BT 2 Channel Multimedia Speakers [Please Suggest Me Here]

Head Set - Logitech G230 Stereo Gaming Headset

Webcam - Logitech HD Pro C920

Please also suggest me whether I need a sound card or not. And if yes , please suggest me a good one

Help me to improve this build [Case/Speakers] and even other components if needed.

Thanks !!

Only thing I might recommend with stuff you already have picked is maybe changing the motherboard to and Asus maximus vi formula or extreme, still completely compatible. As for case, I'd say any full tower that looks pleasing to your eyes, I went with a Thermaltake Level 10 GT. Also, for speakers, I went with the logitech z906 system a couple years ago and still love them.

Honestly that build is pretty much perfect for that price point. I assume that he is going to be overclocking, and you have a sufficient cooler and PSU to overclock both your CPU and GPU. As for the case, either of those will work just fine, although personally with a build like that I would suggest a Corsair 750D, just in going with the theme of Corsair, and I consider it a very nice case for a pretty high end build. As for the speakers, I would go with any 2 channel set that fits in the budget, those aren't really that important, especially if you are getting a headset for use while gaming.

The only suggestion I would make would be to get some Noctua fans for the H100i as the stock fans are VERY loud, and you specified you wanted quietness in your build. Another suggestion for fans would be Corsair SP 120 quiet editions as well.

I guess VI Formula is better because it has covering on it and more 3.0 ports....

i5 4770k
Asus Maximus VI Formula
Cosair Vengeance 16giga RAM
Cosair H100i or NZXT Kraklin x80
NZXT Phantom 630 case
Asus Geforce Gtx 780 Ti

i think i will change 780 to 780 ti and sabertooth to VI formula but i am good with my keyboard since it looks a bit different and the print will remain on it for much long time. Also , i think i will go with fractal design because it looks more better to me and specially , my cousin wants it.

Correct, just replace those fans with some aftermarket ones i.e. Corsair SP 120's or Noctua F12's

So u think 650 watts is enough.... i guess then i will change to 700 or 750 just to be on safer side..... Because i feel 650 wont be sufficient..... since he is going to SLI and overclock cpu and gpu [i guess thats the right term]

Nowhere near. Go with 800 to be safe. Another GPU usually adds 200watt to your max load and you want headroom left over for your OC to be stable. I always say that if you plan to OC your GPU you want to have a LOT fo spare power as PSU demand does up much faster than if you OC a CPU.
