Catalyst Control Centre cannot be started

I have a HP pavilion 15-E054SE.I've an AMD HD 8670M (2gb dedicated) Video Card.When I updated to Windows 8.1,the display drivers before update were AMD HD 8670M.after the update the display drivers show the AMD HD 8600M drivers..the catalyst control centre also doesn't open and shows the catalyst Control Centre cannot be started..please help me.what should I do ?

Just do a clean install of your AMD drivers. You can find them on their website.

I did it as you said.
now the error pops up "host application has stopped working"

Make sure that you have microsoft .net framework v4.5 installed. Catalyst Control Centre cannot function without it.
