I have a Dell Inspiron 15R with switchable graphics. Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 is the integrated graphics. And AMD Radeon HD 8730M as additional. My Catalyst Control Center is not responding, so I can't open it. This problem seems to occur quite often, and I couldn't fix it using any of the solutions given on this site.
Now, while trying to fix it, I accidentally uninstalled the AMD card. The card itself. So now it doesn't show under the device manager. How do I reinstall it?

I tried visiting the AMD website, and tried to download the latest Catalyst Control Center software, but it won't let me install it if it doesn't detect an AMD product, which it obviously didn't do, because I uninstalled it.
I can't install using the "Add legacy hardware" option in Device Manager because it requires me to insert the CD that came with the graphics card, but I don't have that, because the two graphics cards came pre-installed.
I don't know what to do!

How do I go about solving this problem?

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit

8.1???
did you upgrade from store?
if yes, you are facing the same problem which I faced
go to dell support
http://www.dell.com/support/my-support/us/en/19
enter service tag select your os i,e. 8.1 and 64bit
come down to video cards , download Intel graphics drivers and Amd graphics drivers
first install Intel graphics drivers and then Amd graphics drivers
make sure before installing amd graphic drivers uninstall previous AMD drivers from control panel>program files>uninstall a program>uninstall Amd catalyst
Restart if needed
Now you can install new Amd drivers which you have downloaded
NOTE:Install AMD drivers after Intel drivers.
