Hey guys,

I just caught word that a $360 monitor just went on sale today for $200. It looks good to me, but I am wanting a second opinion since I don't buy monitors very often and don't know how it compares to others.

It's the "BenQ GW2750HM Glossy Black 27" 4ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 20,000,000:1 (5000:1) Built-in Speakers" found here:

Is this a good monitor, especially for the price?
Also, my eyes are generally about 2 feet away from the screen, so would this be a good size?

Thanks guys, any help will be appreciated :D

its a great monitor, just keep in mind you will need D-Sub HDMI or DVI connectors since it does not support VGA :) enjoy your new monitor :)

Hmm, well my GTX 660 ti graphics card has a hdmi output, so that should be able to both connect directly and take full advantage of my hardware, right?

Also, I'm talking about this in another thread as well (cause I'm needing answers somewhat quickly) and "tiny voices" said:
"27in is pretty big for sitting 2 feet away. I have a 24in and I sit about 2 feet away as well. I could never see going any bigger for gaming."

Do you guys think it's TOO big? It seems like a good value for the money, but will it become a pain for gaming? I'm currently using an old 16" monitor, so I'm having a bit of trouble picturing it :p

honestly 27 inch would be perfect, Im using a 22 and wish I could get those extra 5 inches but it isnt in my budget haha. and yes if your GPU has HDMI output all you have to do is plug HDMI into your card then into the back of your monitor, and it should automatically detect the system and turn on :)
