Hey guys,

Looking to build a new system, and I can't seem to wrap my head around what add I should get for it.
Should I get 128 or 256gbs? Maybe even splurge for more? Or can I save a few bucks?
I plan on putting my os and and some other applications on it. I hear putting games with long loading times should also be put on, but that otherwise will not be a noticeable performance increase with games.
Games I do play include fallout 3, metro, other single player fps, and RTS games and turn based games, if it helps to know that. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Brand/kingston/Offers
The above link is for Kingston ssd s that are on sale for this month. Any of them worth it? I also saw that the crucial m500 480gb is on sale for 329 dollars today. Again, worth it?
Any ssd's you guys would consider at any price point, if there was a sale?

As for my budget, I'd say 200-300, maybe a little more if it's the right one.

Essentially, I'd like to buy one that's what I need for the right size and right price.

Hope to hear from you guys, since I think you guys know your stuff, and I respect that.

The Crucial M500 480GB at $329 is a great buy IMO.

I was bought some Crucial M4 256GB drives last year around BF for $160 and expect that similar newer drives (Samsung 840 EVO/Crucial M500) will be lower this year. Since drive prices have come down, I would stick with 250GB or larger drives if your budget allows, it's just so convenient not to have to manage space as much.

Good to hear.
Another question I have is do you guys have great experiences with buying ssds or any other hardware during black Friday sales? Or should I just buy for the next best deal?

I have bought SSDs and a lot of other stuff every BF since the 80GB Intel X-25M was around $400 but had a rebate as Intel has done every year for like the past 4 years.

Each year the best prices all year have been around BF, although the past is no guarantee for this year, I expect some really nice prices. I need 3 or 4 250/256GB, a few 500/512GB and maybe a TB SSD or two if the price is real good so my fingers are crossed.

As always though, if you need it soon, buy the best deal that you can get. Newegg has both the Samsung EVO 250GB ($153) and Toshiba Q 256GB ($150) on good sales today, but I would expect you could save $10 or so if you wait a few weeks.
