I've just noticed frequent "A corrected hardware error has occurred" warnings in my event viewer dating back to October 16th of this year. As of now I haven't come across any performance issues or anything like that though.

I'm getting 2 different errors, with different processor IDs (0 and 1)

Here's my processor, and general PC Specs, the machine came packed with Windows 8, but I downgraded to 7 Ultimate SP1 x64.

AMD A8-5500

TDP: 65W

Operating speed: 3.2 GHz (up to 3.7 GHz turbo)

Number of cores: 4

Socket: FM2

And if it's of any value, according to Speccy my PC temps seems to sit in the mid-high 50's, with Jumps into the 60's and low 70's.

Run Prime 95 for an hour. A instnace for every core (so 8 copies of prime95 at the same time) if the error pops up again whilst doing so then you may have a dying CPU. IF not, then you are fine and ignore it.

I'm having the same issue with my i7-4770k. I'm running Prime95 torture tests without errors or warnings on low 50°C temps (liquid cooling).
My eventlog is swamped with these errors though. Could this be caused by VirtualBox? I'm running around 6 to 8 VMs at any given time.
Even though I have a K-cpu, nothing is overclocked at the time, all in standard trim. It's a pretty new CPU though and I'd like to know if I should ask for a replacement (HW issue with CPU) or not.
