Asus P8Z7-V GEN 3 only letting me set RAM to 1333 not 1600 ?

Put a USB stick in your computer, turn off computer, enter bios, hit printscreen or maybe its F10, and it will save a screenshot to the USB stick.

You SHOULD be able to just enable XMP however. I have nearly that exact same motherboard, once you get into the advanced bios mode it should all be easy.

Also ensure you're looking at the right page in CPU-Z a lot of people confuse the page showing SPD values as the speed the memory is running at.

I think that's what I maybe doing, I have jpegs on the CPU z pages, how do I attach them to one of these messages though ? (im a noob)

Cheers pal, it confused me as I was looking at the max bandwidth (667) Surely that should be 800 MZ ?

You will need to go to asus' website and check to see what the newest one is. their site is kinda a pain in the butt. and if you have a letter after the V ... IE my mobo is the P8Z77-V LK and you use the auto detect it will give you the bios for the non LK model, which won't work on your mother board, so you have to search for it manually.
