When I power down my computer through a shut down, and then I start it up again, it boots up normally.

Why is it that when I do a hard restart or software win restart, that windows doesn't boot up normally and it goes to a black screen.

The boot sequence has to be selected to the main hard drive using F12.

Solved: For some reason my boot sequence was altered. A hard reset would not load into the boot sequence, a shutdown everything worked fine. Went into the bios, changed the boot sequence manually, Everything works fine.
