I am putting together a computer and I would like to know if there is anything wrong with this memory: Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory. As far as I know it is compatible with the rest of the system I just wanted to know if it known to be a bad card or brand.

My motherboard is ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 and my cpu is Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core. So it should fit. I have decided to wait it out for black friday and cyber monday sales so I can perhaps get something better while it is on sale for about the same price.

That will be a good combo, might look at the GSkill Snipers - they work well with your mobo/CPU combo
